Let me start this by saying I love rings but that's seriously neither here nor there. Claddagh rings are a special one to me as I am part Irish and how you wear the ring has a meaning, but I'll go into that in a minute. Let me start that I love this ring.
This ring is sterling silver and so pretty. The heart in the claddagh is made out of man made opal and is a beautiful light blue. There's one stone in the crown on top of the heart as well.
The way the stone is set it looks as if the hands are holding the stone, which is beautiful.
Now, I did say I would mention the meaning that I know. As I said earlier, there is a heart on the ring, it's the biggest part of it. If you're married or taken, you wear the ring with the heart facing you. If you're single, wear it the other way around, meaning your heart is for anyone who wants it.
The way the ring is made it's really kind of delicate and yet made really well, if that makes sense.
Another plus to me is how quickly it came, I really like that a lot.
It's a beautiful size six, perfect for my pinkie.
I received this item at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion.
