I am a fan of popcorn but most bags I find either have way too much or you have so many extra kernels. I never thought I'd say this but I think I've found a wonderful way to pop popcorn easily and safely.
This silicone popcorn popper is really easy to use. I took it out, washed it, added a ¼ cup kernels and put it into the microwave. The directions said 2 ½ minutes. At that time it was still popping, I went more than a another minute in 20 second incumbents. Sure when I took it out the entire thing was hot, as it should be. I opened it and there was fresh popcorn waiting for me to eat it.
You can add oil if you want, for taste. As for myself I think I would add some parmesan or garlic to it, maybe even a little butter or cinnamon. Any of them would be great.
What I also like is the fact that I can eat the popcorn right now of the container. There's some unpopped kernels on the bottom but I kind of expected that.
When you're not using it, it folds nicely and the lid fits inside it. Beautiful for small kitchens like mine.
I received this item at no cost in exchange for my honest opinion.
